Trillium United Church is looking to welcome a new office administrator following the retirement of the current administrator.
This is currently a 20 hour per week position for the person whose personal skills will make them the welcoming first contact for Trillium United Church in St. Catharines.
The successful applicant will support ministry personnel and committees and use their interpersonal skills to be a valued team player.

Position Description: Office Administrator
Reports to: Ministry and Personnel Committee
The Office Administrator is responsible for the efficient day to day office operations of the church on a part time 20 hours per week basis. This individual will support the ministry team, the director of music and community of faith teams In addition to being the person whose personal skills will make them the welcoming first contact with Trillium United Church. This is a key role working independently and with teams where one will learn to make entries in the accounting system and update the church’s web site and electronic sign.
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is a key requirement.
This individual should have good organizational skills and an eagerness to learn new programs and take on new tasks and responsibilities.
The Office Administrator must have a suitable Police Vulnerability Check and be bondable.
The signature of a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement is a requirement.
Working Conditions:
Hours of work are 9:00 am-1:00 pm Monday through Friday beginning 1 December 2023.
Compensation:
This position will be paid a rate commensurate with experience. The United Church of Canada offers benefits including pension.
Following completion of a three month probation period, workload and hourly rate will be reviewed.
